Dense snow fell last night at the base of the mountain. You can see in the photo above that the measuring stick is resting securely atop the new dense snow without sinking more than a millimeter. Squaw is reporting 6″ of new snow at the base and 11″ up top.
The upper mountain is closed today for wind, weather and snow safety.
Squaw Creek, Far East, Red Dog, Exhibition, and KT-22 are scheduled to operate.
