Jackson Hole Ski in Jeans Day 2025.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is bringing back one of its most unusual early-season traditions this December, with discounted lift tickets, family activities, and a holiday celebration spanning two weeks. The fourth annual Ski in Jeans Day is back on December 4th, 2026. The event offers skiers and snowboarders the unique chance to hit the slopes in denim without ridicule while taking advantage of discounted lift tickets and rental equipment.

Ski in Jeans Day Returns December 4

Ski in Jeans Day will take place Friday, December 4th, with single-day lift tickets available for just $35. Visitors planning a longer weekend can purchase a three-day lift ticket valid December 4th through 6th for $199. Teton Village Sports and JH Sports will also offer 50% off rental equipment during the event.

Beyond just skiing, the celebration will feature mechanical bull riding, line dancing lessons, and pop-up booths featuring local vendors and brands in Teton Village. Visitors staying for the weekend can save 10% on vacation rentals through Jackson Hole Resort Lodging. The offer applies to stays of at least three nights in Teton Village, The Aspens, Teton Pines, and Jackson for travel between December 3rd and 7th.

Kids on Snow Returns With Free Family Activities

Jackson Hole’s Kids on Snow weekend is also back this year, running December 11th through 13th. Children 12 and under can ski for free throughout the weekend when accompanied by a paying adult, while families can enjoy several free activities.

Friday features opportunities to meet the resort’s avalanche rescue dogs and explore snowcats at the Kids Ranch. Saturday brings the Kids Market to Village Commons, with local vendors, crafts, games, and face painting. Sunday wraps up the weekend with sledding near the base of the Bridger Gondola.

The Teton Village holiday season continues with a tree lighting and new art installation on December 18th.

Two Weeks of WinterFest Events

WinterFest runs December 21st through January 3rd, bringing nearly daily activities to Teton Village throughout the holiday season.

Highlights include cookie decorating, gingerbread house building, sledding, and Santa arriving aboard the Aerial Tram on Christmas Eve. Other events include a ski boot race on December 29th, appearances by avalanche rescue dogs on December 30rd, and a Glow Worm Parade and fireworks display on New Year’s Eve.

A waffle eating contest follows on January 1rd, with the festivities wrapping up January 2nd as children get to smash the gingerbread village they helped create. The full December schedule and lift ticket information are available at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
