LA 2028 has announced the venue for the Olympic surfing competition during summer 2028. According to California State Parks, the legendary Trestles Beach will set the stage for the competition.

Trestles Beach is a part of San Onofre State Beach, attracting 2.5 million visitors a year. The beach’s consistent waves have attracted beginners and pro surfers for years, earning recognition by the Olympics in part because of its elite status among professional surfers.

State Parks is set to work closely with the City of Los Angeles, LA28, local stakeholders, tribal partners, athletes, and the global surf community to prepare Trestles Beach as the 2028 Summer Olympics approach.
