Hunter Mountain's lift upgrades are underway.

HUNTER MOUNTAIN, New York – New York’s Hunter Mountain is having a busy summer, with two new lift upgrades and a snowmaking upgrade taking place while there’s no snow on the ground. They presented an update on the projects yesterday, following their first fly day:

Hunter Mountain is replacing the Broadway Quad, or B Lift, with a new high-speed detachable six-pack chairlift. The old Broadway Quad will be moved to replace the fixed-grip double chairlift E Lift.
