Lupine is a colorful plant that is native to Alaska and the northern reaches of Canada.

The plant is not native to Iceland, but it has spread to just about every corner of the island since it was introduced back in the 1940s.

YouTube channel Mossy Earth has created the fantastic video below explaining why Lupine is spreading across Iceland.

He also discusses the numerous pros and cons of the invasive plant.
