Tomorrow, August 4th, is a ‘Free Entrance Day’ for all 400+ National Parks across the country.
It’s one of five days throughout the year when Americans can enjoy the country’s most beautiful lands without an entrance fee.
August 4th celebrates the Great American Outdoors Act that was passed in 2020.
The legislation provides “…$1.9 billion per year for five years to make significant enhancements in national parks and other public lands ensuring their preservation and providing opportunities for recreation, education and enjoyment for current and future visitors.”

Tomorrow is a great opportunity to visit a national park and enjoy the great outdoors.
Be prepared for crowds, and just a quick reminder- Give animals their space, and for the love of god, don’t try to feed them!
