Madeira is an autonomous region of Portugal located off the west coast of Africa. An isolated archipelago in the Atlantic, it’s a popular tourist destination for many things, but, for the purpose of this post, it’s notably a hand-crafted mountain biking haven. I’ll say, it looks incredible. Gorgeous trails looking over the ocean, beautiful forests, and some eye-catching mountains. Before seeing this video, I’d never heard of Madeira, but now it’s at the top of my vacation list.
