A ton of really cool stuff has come out of The Nines this year. There were some wild firsts, including the first 2160 on a snowboard, and plenty more wicked lines. Since The Nines’22 ended several weeks ago, I was under the assumption that we’d already seen all of the sweet edits from the event, but, as I now know, I was quite wrong.
It feels as if the colored smoke is exactly what this course was designed for. The weird features, like the downward spiral, create such a beautiful canvas for the skiers and snowboarders to make art out of.
