Hoping this poor elk who was caught on a trail cam with a car tire hanging around its neck near Conifer, Colorado on June 5th is okay. Colorado Parks & Wildlife Northeast Region shared the video and want to remind folks that it’s not just hammocks and decorative lights that can become a danger to wildlife. Pack it in, pack it out folks…no exceptions.
One of many reasons why you should pick up after yourself 🥴 It's not always hammocks, decorative lights or netting that our antlered wildlife get caught up in, so it's important to pick up your trash/possessions.
