The four mountains of Aspen Snowmass got another nice boost from Mother Nature over the last 24 hours. A fresh round of snowfall delivered as much as 8 inches, adding to the excitement and potentially making the snowmaking process a bit easier ahead of the Thanksgiving opening period.

Two of four mountains are scheduled to begin winter operations in just a few weeks. Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are targeting November 26 openings, welcoming skiers and snowboarders for the Thanksgiving holiday. Early-season storms can make a significant difference as ski areas work toward opening day. A single snowfall does not guarantee strong early-season conditions, but accumulating natural snow can provide a helpful boost alongside ongoing snowmaking efforts.
