Not too many ski resorts had what one would call a great ski season last year. All across the United States resorts struggled with a lack of snowfall and warm weather, leading to a sad reduction in the number of gnarly ski and snowboard clips posted across the internet. Fortunately the world’s most iconic ski run, Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole, was able to open plenty of times, allowing for some great videos and one of the best Kings & Queens of Corbet’s to date.
In addition to just opening the trail, Jackson Hole launched a new Corbet’s Couloir webcam, giving us all a way to watch the action from the comfort of our own couches. I’ve collected our 7 favorite Corbet’s Couloir clips of 2026, most of which come from the iconic Kings & Queens competition, some of which come from the webcam, for your entertainment and to hype you up for what will hopefully be an epic 2026/2027 winter. These 7 are shared in no particular order.
Ellie Weiler’s Gnarly Wipeout
Snowboarder Ellie Weiler crashed hard while attempting a 360 into the iconic couloir at the Kings & Queens competition, but it hardly slowed her down. After tumbling down quite a ways, Ellie got back onto her feet without stopping, riding down to the big jump and throwing a flip. She took first place in the women’s snowboard category for that one, rightfully so.
Mike Bogs West Well Send
Most people tackle Corbet’s Couloir over the front lip, but snowboarder Mike Bogs prefers to get a little more creative. For his run at the 2026 Kings & Queens of Corbet’s, Bogs sent it huge off the side wall, changing direction mid-air and landing it with little trouble. He wound up taking 4th in the men’s snowboard category for this run.
Wildest Crash of 2026
The wildest Corbet’s Couloir crash of 2026 doesn’t come from the Kings & Queens competition. Instead it comes from the new, endlessly entertaining live camera. A skier confidently waves to the camera before dropping in on the Goat Path, quickly winding up backwards and tumbling down the steep slope without control. According to the comments, the person was okay despite the wipeout. Surely their ego was slightly bruised, though.
Kelly Hilleke Sends A Double Blackflip
Kelly Hilleke lived up to his Instagram handle (@kellysends) by throwing a monstrous double backflip into the Couloir during the Kings and Queens of Corbet’s competition. He managed to snag second place in the men’s ski category for it, certainly a well-earned placement.
Man-Ramp Double Backflip
On the topic of double backflips, we come to snowboarder Elijah Singer‘s double backflip off a man-ramp so kindly supplied by fellow snowboarder Quinn Boutot. This was easily one of the most creative entrances at the 2026 Kings & Queens, not to mention the fact that he very nearly stomped the double backflip.
The Winning Runs
I’d be foolish not to mention the King and Queen of this year’s Kings & Queen’s of Corbet’s competition. Alta rippers Piper Kunst and Tristen Lilly took the overall first place prizes with their runs, with Kunst throwing a huge backflip and Lilly throwing a massive front flip into the Couloir. If they keep skiing like this, they’ll be crowned the King & Queen of skiing soon enough.
