Unreal ending to the 2026 Les Gets DH World Cup where French professional mountain biker Max Alran crossed the finish line taking home his first World Cup win on home turf and was immediately joined by thousands of cheering fans.
A favorite on the calendar for both fans and riders, 2026 will saw the return of the UCI MTB World Series to the iconic venue of Les Gets in the Haute-Savoie region of France. Best known as a cosy ski village in winter, Les Gets also offers world-class mountain biking in the summer and is an incredible place to watch elite mountain bike racing as a spectator.
Thankfully Max didn’t have to dodge any of these ravenous fans as he crossed the finish line with a time of 3:27.924, but it they weren’t far off.
If can watch all this videos and not get goosebumps, I sincerely feel sorry for you. This is what passionate sports fandom is all about.
Congratulations to Max. This is one of the coolest moments in mountain biking history!
