The National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the U.S. National Park Service, has officially launched its annual Adventure Awaits Sweepstakes, providing participants with the opportunity to win a true one-in-a-lifetime national park adventure.
Entry into the sweepstakes can either be done via donation online or by sending a postcard to the National Park Foundation 2026 Adventure Awaits Sweepstakes. The grand prize winner will earn 500,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® for use toward a national park destination of their choice in addition to $10,000 in cash from Forbright® Bank to cover expenses.
One runner up will win 100,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® miles in celebration of the airline’s 100th anniversary, along with $1,000 cash from the National Park Foundation. The sweepstakes seeks to help one grand prize winner and one runner up experience the truly magnificent national parks spread throughout the United States.
As mentioned, those hoping to participate can either send a postcard to the National Park Foundation 2026 Adventure Awaits Sweepstakes for 5 entries (the free method) or can submit a donation through the National Park Foundation website (here). $15 provides 5 entires, $35 provides 20, $50 provides 35, and $75 provides 50.
