The full name of the trick is the “Caballerial” and its named after 61-year-old Steve Caballero who first threw the fakie backside rotation in an empty pool back in the 1980s.

Although retired from competitive skateboarding, Steve is still super active in the sport. When he’s not ripping bowls and halfpipes on his skateboard, he likes to hop on his mountain bike and catch some mellow air.
