Jackson Hole based professional skier Owen Leeper frequently makes his way to Colorado to take advantage of the remaining spring snow, and this year was no different. We’re used to seeing him rip through steep couloirs or nail massive backcountry pond skims, but this road gap is new.
Leeper (as his name somehow implies) is big into the idea of sending massive jumps on his skis, and this is no different. This time, instead of having a massive landing pad of deep powder, Owen ripped it over the road as fellow skiers Gigi Nemerow and Colter Hinchliffe passed underneath in a Ford Bronco.
If he had messed this gap up it certainly would have ended in a disastrous manner. But this is Owen Leeper we’re talking about, and he doesn’t mess up big jumps. Huge props for pulling this one off Owen, we can’t wait to see what else you’ve got going this spring.
