There are a lot of blind spots in skiing and snowboarding, whether they’re naturally caused by slopes or dips in the trail or man-made through terrain park features. These spots often turn into serious hazards, especially when someone wipes out beneath the slope.

This blind spot created quite a mess after someone wound up injured directly underneath it. Several snowboarders came over the hill with the tiniest amount of time to slam on the breaks before reaching the group below, leading to multiple falls.

The feature is a bit confusing and unclear, but it is evident that someone should have stood on top of the bulge and warned passing skiers and snowboarders of the situation below.
