The wait is nearly over for all you Adirondack skiers and snowboarders itching to get back on Gore Mountain’s slopes as the New York ski resort just announced its projected opening date for the 2025/26 winter season.

Gore projects they will start spinning chairlifts Friday, November 21st (pass holders only) and then open to the public November 22nd and 23rd. The news comes after Gore experienced a cold snap Monday night which sprang their snowmaking crew into action:

“The guns roared to life, blasting fresh snow across the trails. Every flake brings us closer to carving turns and making memories on the mountain with opening day just around the corner.” -Gore Mountain

As Gore approaches their projected opening day they will provide more details about available lifts and terrain. Remember folks, if you haven’t purchased your Gore Mountain Season Pass yet you have until the December 3rd deadline to do so. Frequent Skier Cards will still available through December 10th.
