How to properly use a neck gaiter.

Neck gaiters (Buffs) are a great, cheap piece of clothing that can keep your head, neck, and face warm in any situation. They have value in a whole load of sports and activities, but we’re of course most passionate about using them while skiing or snowboarding. Some people prefer a full balaclava over a gaiter, but gaiters tend to be a bit more flexible with how they’re used.

Now you can just throw one of them over your head and pull in up over your face, but if you want to make sure it covers the right part of your face without blocking your goggled or exposing too much of your head, this little trick will make your days on the slope a whole lot nicer.

It’s really pretty simple, just pull it over your head, create that hinge point, and cover your face. Whether or not you use a neck gaiter, a balaclava, or something else is entirely up to you, but neck gaiters tend to have more applications than other options. You can wear them as a hat, a head band, a full face mask, and much more.
