The winningest alpine skier racer of all time is launching a podcast and we can’t wait to listen in. Mikaela Shiffrin will premier “What’s the Point with Mikaela Shiffrin” on October 29th, exactly 100 days out from the beginning of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games and plans to drop 8-10 episodes throughout the season.
The podcast name derives from the question she gets the most..Why are you still doing this? You’ve won everything. Why do you care?:
“I’m like, ’I don’t know. I just do.’ I still love training. I still love skiing and improving and feeling like I’m getting better or faster. I think gaining perspective from others will help me gain perspective for myself, and hopefully for people listening it will help them as well.” –Mikaela Shiffrin
The Associated Press spoke with Shiffrin ahead of the World Cup season opener which will go down this Saturday with a giant slalom race Saturday in Austria and she said she gained inspiration for her new podcast from “New Heights Podcast” hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce:

Along with the announcement of her new podcast, Shiffrin also debuted her new signature brand logo which she created with the design firm Wunder Werkz in collaboration with the marketing agency Skylark. The logo is a stylized version of her initials that resembles a skier in a racing tuck. We will make sure to update when the first episode goes live. Here is a quick preview of what is to come.
