โ€œWe are thrilled to begin this terrain expansion. Our skiers and riders will now have a dedicated, lift-served area to build confidence and skills before moving on to larger, more challenging slopes.โ€ – Manager, Pete Meyer.

The new lift will be the resort’s third new Doppelmayr lift in 11 years, continuing Caberfae’s reinvestment into the guest experience. The Green Mountain Triple will create a smoother progression for beginner skiers and snowboarders between the learning area’s surface lift and the East Peak Triple Chair.

โ€œUnlike our previous installations in 2016 and 2022, which replaced aging 1967 Hall double chairs, this lift adds new capacity, increasing both our overall lift count and skiable terrain. This expansion improves the experience for skiers and riders of all ability levels and continues our mission of investing where it matters most โ€“ on the slopes.โ€ – Tim Meyer, Mountain Operations Manager. โ€œ

The project will take several years. Throughout 2025, the resort will engage in planning, excavating, and lift-line clearing. Concrete work for the terminal and tower foundations, in addition to snowmaking installation, will be conducted throughout 2026. Finally, the lift will be installed in 2027.
