Ski racing legend Lindsey Vonn made a surprise appearance on stage at a Dierks Bentley concert in Utah and downed a beer shotgun style in front of 20,000 fans. Lindsey spent the evening backstage at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, seemingly knowing all the lyrics to Dierks’ catalog by heart and when the country music superstar pulled her on stage she jumped at the opportunity:
“Didn’t expect to be on stage in from of 20,000 people but when Dierks challenges me you know I’m gonna step up to the plate!! Performance under pressure lol.” -Lindsey Vonn
Lindsey was joined by another transplant to Utah at the show and chummed it up with Post Malone while he made multiple cameos on stage in various outfits including this daisy dukes ensemble complete with a Texas sized belt buckle.
Lindsey Vonn Competitive Future:
Amazing to see one of the best skiers of all time cutting loose in the offseason but make no mistake about, Lindsey is all business when it comes to her goal of competing in the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games where she hopes to compete in the downhill event. Lindsey has stated that if she races in Italy it will be her final competitive event and plans to retire again after the games (but she may continue if she’s in contention for a World Cup title). Lindsey has been putting in the work this summer and its great to see her blow off a little steam between training and equipment testing. Giddyup!
