Colorado — If you and your friend (real life or work) are looking for a season pass that allows you to go to a variety of mountains. Colorado Ski Country USA may have a pass that’s worth the steep cost.
Last week, Colorado Ski Country USA announced the 2025-26 version of the Gold Pass. Costing $4,600, it provides unlimited access to the lifts at nineteen ski resorts that are part of Colorado Ski Country USA.
While the price is steep, it’s a pass that’s not meant for a single person. Anyone can use the fully transferable pass. This makes it ideal for a company, a family, or a group of friends who enjoy skiing. The one caveat is that it can only be used by one person once a day.
“The Gold Pass is a terrific tool for businesses to host clients or reward employees,” said Melanie Mills, the President and CEO of Colorado Ski Country USA . “For skiers and riders who want to experience Colorado’s top resorts with the flexibility to share with others, Gold Pass Membership gives unparalleled access to the best skiing in the world.”
The pass includes unlimited access to Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Copper Mountain, Echo Mountain, Eldora Mountain Resort, Granby Ranch, Howelsen Hill Ski Area, Loveland Ski Area, Monarch Mountain, Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Purgatory Resort, Ski Cooper/Chicago Ridge, Snowmass, Steamboat, Sunlight Mountain Resort, Telluride Ski Resort & Winter Park.
Notably absent from this list are the Colorado properties owned by Vail Resorts. These include Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Keystone, and Vail Mountain. Vail Resorts ended its relationship with Colorado Ski Country USA back in 2008.
You can apply for the Gold Pass here. The number of passes is limited and tends to sell out.
