Mountain bike world record attempt ends disastrously

“Official application for Fail of the year.” -Johannes Fischbach

Wild video of German MTB Downhill Pro Johannes Fischbach failing spectacularly in an attempt to set a world record for longest jump on a mountain bike. Everything was going to plan until a last second pitching nosedive at 55mph that terminated in a sprawling endo for the ages.  Thankfully Johannes popped up at the bottom of The Vogtland Arena ski jump in his native Germany and seemed to be in one piece. Amazing attempt, we are glad Fischbach took the crash in stride.
