Mountain Biker vs. Bobsled Track
Mountain Biker vs. Bobsled Track

Pro mountain biker and Red Bull athlete Matt Jones traveled to Sarajevo, Bosnia to take on the derelict bobsleigh and luge track built for the 1984 Winter Olympics. With views overlooking the City of Sarajevo from the top of Trebević mountain, Jones took a moment to collect himself before beginning his epic descent. In an incredible act of bravery Jones didn’t touch his brakes once as he snaked down the concrete course and reached 70km/h in the process:

“I went to Bosnia to race down an abandoned bobsled track. This is so scary but so fun on a mountain bike. High speed and G-forces around the massive concrete berms feels insane. Enjoy the wild POV run and FPV chasing me at 70km/h down this high speed luge.” -Matt Jones

Taking on a crumbling luge course on a mountain bike is gutsy for sure, not touching your brakes at all is madness. This is flat out riding at its best.
