Tom Pidcock rides the Rossfeld Panoramastrasse.

Cyclist Tom Pidcock is both an Olympic and World Champion in mountain biking and a top road cyclist, winning a Tour de France stage and now competing with the Q36.5 team. Though he’s talented on the uphill climbs, his skills shine the most when he’s ripping downhill, often faster than anyone else in the race. A few times he’s even been called the world’s best descender on a road bike, and while that’s certainly just an opinion this video seems to come close to proving it.

In the video produced by Red Bull Bike, Pidcock is joined by Rally Dakar champion Matthias Walkner to capture some sweet follow cam footage as they rip down Germany’s highest panoramic road, the Rossfeld Panoramastrasse. The views are absolutely stunning, but the riding is by far the highlight.

Pidcock’s descending skills are on full display as he reaches speeds nearing 60mph (95kmh).
