There’s a massive number of ski areas to choose from when you’re planning a European ski vacation. France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, and beyond all offer top notch skiing and snowboarding, the likes of which you’ll likely never find in the United States. Fortunately for us European ski instructor Marius Quast has made his way to a fair number of these areas, sharing his experience as he does so.
Quast spent some time at the Nebelhorn Ski Area at Oberstdorf Kleinwalsertal this past winter, sharing all that it has to offer. It’s not a massive resort, but it does offer some unbelievable views and the longest valley run in Germany.
The run is 7.5km long, or just about 4.7 miles. It’s not the longest in Europe, but it takes you to a host of wild mountain locations with some unbelievable views. Quast completes the entire run in just under 9 minutes.
