This past year was an interesting one for the North American ski season. Snow conditions were phenomenal in some areas and absolutely abysmal in others. Some resorts marked one of their longest seasons in history, others had to close early for a multitude of reasons.

Additionally this season came with what felt like an unusually large number of ski lift related accidents, from people falling off chairs to chairs and gondola cabins falling off the cables. Plus labor unrest led to tense negotiations and strikes across the country. It would be incredibly difficult to list every single thing that went wrong this ski season, but PeakRankings took a look at the most notable events.
