The winter ski season is officially over in Colorado, but that doesn’t mean skiing on snow has to come to an end. Copper Mountain’s Summer Snow Season is only just beginning, with several options for skiers and snowboarders to keep their skills fresh.
The Summer Hike Park has officially opened, the only on-snow summer terrain park experience in the state. The park is piled over 30 feet high and includes around a dozen features for riders to keep their skills fresh while everyone else has called it a season.
The Summer Hike Park is open 10am-5pm Fridays through Sundays until September 7th (if conditions allow). Day passes can be purchased for $25 and summer season passes are available for $199.
The Woodward Summer Rail Jam Series will continue to provide athletes with the chance to throw down and show off their skills, with rail jams happening on July 4th and September 5th. The competitions are open to every aged 10 and up. Learn more about the rail jam, summer hike park, and other events here.
