The Kicking Horse Bike Park in Golden, B.C., is opening two weeks earlier than originally planned thanks to the hard work of the Mountain Safety and Bike Park teams.

The season will kick off with Lower Mountain access via the Catamount Chair on June 6th. Over 10 miles of trails and over 1,300 feet of descent will grant riders over 16 trails including Rock N Roll, Stick Rock, Kranky Pants, and Pioneer.

Key routes will be connected with a push-up Trappers Trail and extra lift staff will be on hand to keep things moving. Catamount MTB Ticket pricing will be in effect for the first weekend, costing just $53 per adult.

When the Golden Eagle Express lift is back running, 32 trails and nearly 20 miles of terrain will open in the alpine with over 3,600 feet of vertical descent. Opening weekend trail status is available here.

The Kicking Horse Bike Park was originally scheduled to open on June 20.
