Nikolas Plytas lands world's first double backflip on a foilboard.

Foilboards are essentially surfboards with a hydrofoil on the bottom, allowing riders to float above the water and self propel with a pumping motion. Successfully foilboarding on its own is wildly impressive, but then you have guys like Nikolas Plytas throwing wild tricks.

Plytas takes foilboarding to the next level. He can throw flips, McTwists, foil taps on buoys, and much more. Recently Plytas managed to accomplish a world’s first, becoming the first person to land a double backflip on a foilboard. It’s seriously impressive stuff.

Plytas began his career as a waterskier but has developed to be a top athlete in a multitude of water sports. He’s been at it since he was a teenager, breaking records, dominating in competitions, and creating some unbelievable clips.
