This weekend may be the unofficial kickoff to the summer season but it still looking very wintery at the top of Mount Washington in New Hampshire. The National Weather Service reports the 10.8 inches of snow fell at the Mount Washington Observatory, more than enough to fire up the plow trucks. Current ground conditions at the observatory are 7 inches of snow, ice, and rime with deeper drifts….Happy Memorial Day!
