There are a lot of jobs that need to be done to keep a ski resort running. There are the employees we always see on the mountain like lifties, ski patrol, groomers, and instructors, and there are the more behind-the-scenes employees who run sales, the websites, liability, and much more. Everyone of these staff members is vitally important to keeping things open at your favorite ski resort, and that includes the marketing team.
If you don’t have marketing, you usually don’t have guests. Marketing is how you get new customers and retain old ones. It’s how you let people know that there’s a new deal or good snow on the mountain.
