If you’re a skier in Colorado, there’s a good chance you’re eager to hear when your last opportunity to ski on snow for the 2024/25 season will be. With just one ski area still open, all eyes are on Arapahoe Basin.

Arapahoe Basin announced their scheduled closing date for Sunday, June 8, but that’s not a guarantee. If they can remain open for an additional weekend, they will try, but it all depends on weather and conditions.

For the time being, Arapahoe Basin will continue skiing and snowboarding seven days a week until June 1st. Then they’ll reopen for the weekend of June 6, 7, and 8.

Right now Arapahoe Basin has a 53 inch base with plenty of slush turns and sun to be had. This Sunday, May 25, is the Festival of the Brewpubs with beer samples from a host of different breweries. Don’t miss out on the last few weekends of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado!
