Colorado saw some nasty weather on Sunday, May 18. According to Colorado Public Radio, at least four tornadoes touched down in Adams, Arapahoe and Elbert counties between 1 and 2pm on Sunday, rated as EF-2 based on wind velocity and destruction.

Near the town of Elizabeth, at least 19 homes were damaged, and at least 17 structures were damaged in Adams County. Fortunately there have been no reports of injury or death from the twisters.

A host of flights in and out of Denver International Airport due to the weather on Sunday, though some planes were still in the air when the tornadoes hit. This plane passenger managed to capture a wild video of a tornado east of the airport as they were actively landing, getting a significant portion of the funnel on camera.
