Mammoth Mountain has announced the opening date for their mountain bike park, with access to limited terrain beginning on May 23. This will overlap with Mammoth’s ski season which is set to continue at least until Memorial Day on May 26.

As California’s highest lift-served bike park, the area offers 80+ miles of singletrack with pavers, berms, jumps, drops, and a beginner-friendly Discovery Zone when fully open. Adult Bike Park tickets start at $29 for opening day. Mammoth requires that riders wear helmets in the park.

Mammoth’s skiing and snowboarding is set to continue at least until Memorial Day, with the Mammoth Yacht Club bringing ocean-themed fun to the mountain all weekend long. The weekend will include Mammoth Yacht Club Boat Races on Saturday, May 24, live music, and limited edition apparel.

The ski resort still has 85 of 178 trails open serviced by 9 of 24 lifts. They’ve seen 283 inches of snow this season and currently have a base depth range between 60 and 114 inches.
