Ski resorts employee a broad range of staff, from guest services to retail to health and safety. Every single member of a ski resort’s staff works to keep things functioning while ensuring that we’re able to enjoy the slopes with as few hiccups as possible. They serve us food, they sell us tickets, they give us tips, and they keep us save.
The lift maintenance crew is easily one of the most important factors in keeping a ski resort safe and functioning. They make sure the lifts are running without problem and work hard to clear the ice and winter debris off the chairs and towers in the morning to get the chairlifts open. Without them there would be no easy way to get up the mountain. Mammoth Mountain highlighted the lift maintenance crew in a recent video.
Mammoth Mountain is open at least until Memorial Day, with the Mammoth Yacht Club scheduled to go down between May 23-May 26.
