The first ever YETI Natural Selection Ski starts TODAY at 3pm EDT TODAY, premiering solely on Red Bull TV. The event is set to throw several big name skiers, both in film and competition, into the massive mountain terrain of Alaska, with high-speed drones and other cutting-edge filming techniques bringing the competition alive on your screen.
Four women are set to compete: Manon Loschi, Michelle Parker, Maggie Voisin, and Hedvig Wessel. The highest score from the first round will move directly to finals while the bottom three scores will move on to round two. The highest score for round two will move onto finals, where a head-to-head battle with two runs will determine the winner.
Eight total men will compete in the first round: Markus Eder, Kai Jones, Sam Kuch, Craig Murray, Kye Petersen, Colby Stevenson, Parker White, and Max Palm. The first round will see the skiers split into two groups of four. The top score in each of those groups will move on directly to the semifinals, while the other three in each group will compete in a second round. The winners of the second round will move onto the semifinals.
The men’s semifinals and finals will be head-to-head, with the two winners ofrom the semifinals moving on to compete in the finals.
Again, the event starts at 3pm EDT TODAY, so make sure you tune in on Red Bull TV! You won’t want to miss this one.
