Skier's bindings blow apart entering Corbet's Couloir.

If you’re going to shred Corbet’s Couloir, you’d better do it with gear that’s in a good condition. The last thing you want is for your skis to blow apart right as you’re dropping, like this guy.

Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole is easily one of the most famous ski runs in the world, known for its difficulty and great access for spectators. It’s home to the Kings & Queens of Corbet’s, one of the best freeride competitions of the year, bringing in some remarkable highlights. But for every highlight there’s an epic crash reel, including this one.

Corbet’s Couloir feartures a 20-foot drop and 50-degree pitch, right in view of the resort’s Ariel Tram. There are several ways to enter the run, including just fully jumping in, but the goat path is the most common, and probably the easiest, approach. Read more on Corbet’s Couloir here.
