Mikaela Shiffrin 101st World Cup victory

Mikaela Shiffrin closed out her ski season in dominate fashion yesterday securing her 101st World Cup victory and 157th World Cup podium after taking the top spot in the final Slalom of the season in Sun Valley.

It was a tough season for Shiffrin who was sidelined back in late November after suffering a deep puncture wound in a giant slalom crash in Killington, Vermont. She worked hard during her two month recovery and secured her history 100th victory when she paired with Breezy Johnson to win the team combined at the world championships.

With little kids dressed as the 101 Dalmatians in the stands, Mikaela stepped on the gas and won the slalom in Sun Valley by a comfortable 1.13 seconds. Congratulations to Mikaela who further cemented her status as the winningest skier of all-time!
