Nice guy Kaven was skiing at Ontario’s Blue Mountain ski area when he wound up on the lift with a girl who forgot her goggles. Given that it was a killer pow day with tons of snow falling to the ground, flakes kept getting in the girl’s eyes, causing pain while trying to enjoy a day on the mountain.
Fortunately Kaven had a pair of extra $30 clear goggles in his bag that he was willing to part ways with, helping the girl to enjoy her day on the mountain. This easily could have been a move just for clout, but it’s still a good thing to do. It’s easy to say goodbye to a pair of $30 goggles, but there are plenty of people on the mountain who would never be willing to.
Blue Mountain is the largest mountain village resort in Ontario, sitting on the Southern Georgian Bay. It offers 720 feet of elevation, 364 acres of skiing, and 43 named trails, with 360 acres of snowmaking. Their longest run, Gord’s Groove, is just about 1 mile.
