Harlem Globetrotter Anthony “Buckets” Blakes @ A-Basin

With the kick off NCAA March Madness and the nation glued to the TV in hopes they don’t get their brackets busted, it brings to mind that time Anthony “Buckets” Blakes of the world famous Harlem Globetrotters took a day off the hardwood and headed up to Arapahoe Basin Ski Resort to try his hand at skiing.

Buckets may have stuck to the magic carpet and bunny slopes on his first day out but we are sure he would be hotdogging on double black diamonds in no time if he got the ski bug.

If you’re like me you will now be whistling the Globe Trotter theme for a week solid while banking empty cans off the wall into the recycling bin and fake passing the salt around the table. Got to love the Globe Trotters!
