The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame is raising money through an online auction, featuring a ton of memorabilia, autographs, posters, and other items. Typically their auction is done in person, but this year an online component has been introduced to raise the stakes.
“The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame relies on the generosity of supporters to continue preserving and celebrating the sport’s rich history. For those who may not find an item of interest but still wish to contribute, a DONATE button is available for direct contributions. Every donation, regardless of size, plays a crucial role in sustaining the Hall of Fame’s mission.” – U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame
Items available through the auction include an Atomic S9 SL Ski Autographed by Mikaela Schiffrin, Competition Bibs from Liz Mezzetti, a Franz Klammer 1976 Olympic Gold Medal Lithograph, a K2 1980 Autographed LIMITED EDITION Ski Bag, and so much more. If you’re a fan of ski racing and ski memorabilia, you don’t want to miss out.
The auction features a proxy bid feature, allowing you to set a hidden maximum bid that will automatically increase when challenged, and an anti-snipe feature that extends auctions by three minutes when a last minute bid is placed. Bidding is open until March 29 at 7:30pm ET.
“Remember: Bid early, often, and with your heart for the Hall of Fame this year.” – U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame
