2 moose charge down the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Two moose were filmed barreling down the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort this week, appearing to have issues with nearby skiers.

The two moose appear to head towards what looks like a parent and child on a beginner slope before veering off away from the skiers. Fortunately it appears nobody was attacked by the animals but that doesn’t make the incident all that much less intense.

Moose sightings are fairly common at Jackson Hole, though they typically go without injuries or attacks. Earlier this week a skier was charged by a moose on the mountain, while a man was attacked by a moose in 2021 while walking his dog and a moose trampled a woman in 2023 causing severe injuries.

Attacks by moose can typically be avoided by giving them plenty of space and keeping dogs leashed at all times. Pets, especially dogs, can cause moose to act defensively. They might attack if you get too close or a perceived as a threat to them or their young.
