5. Telluride Ski Resort, Colorado – 13 inches
Telluride Ski Resort in Colorado has seen 13 inches of new snowfall throughout the past 24 hours, with 10 inches falling overnight. More snowfall is expected throughout the day today too, adding to the resort’s current season total of 199 inches.
4. Silverton Mountain, Colorado – 14 inches
Silverton Mountain, Colorado’s extreme ski area, saw 14 inches of snowfall in the past 24 hours, bringing their on-mountain snow depth up to 57 inches. Around 1-2 inches of new snow is expected throughout the day on Wednesday as well, adding to their season total of 266 inches.
3. Brighton Resort, Utah – 14 inches
Unsurprisingly, Utah’s Cottonwood Canyon’s are heavily represented on the list. Brighton Resort saw 14 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, bringing their 7 day total up to 67 inches. As of this morning, their season total is 352 inches.
2. Alta Ski Area, Utah – 21 inches
With 5 inches in the past 12 hours and 21 inches in the past 24, Alta Ski Area is likely going to have quite the day today. No more snow is expected to fall on the mountain today, but the recent storm brought their season total up to 477 inches.
1. Snowbird, Utah – 23 inches
The big winner in the past 24 hours is easily Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon, just barely missing 2 feet with 23 inches in the past day. Between 4pm and 9am last night, Snowbird saw 9 inches of new snow, bringing their season total up to 465 inches.
