There are few ski runs in the world that provide as much entertainment as Corbet’s Couloir at Jackson Hole. The run’s theater-like shape and its visibility from the tram provide incredible views for those in person, whether that’s of skiers or snowboarders stomping incredible tricks or people wiping out hard and sliding down the face.
There’s a good chance that this the guy dropped into the couloir knowing the tram was passing by, aiming to put on a show. Unfortunately it didn’t go quite as one would hope, with the skier wiping out to both the horror and delight of those passing by.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s How To Ski Corbet’s Couloir:
“To tackle Corbet’s Couloir, start by planning your trip to Jackson Hole and brushing up on your skills. JHMR offers a Steep and Deep camp designed to help skiers master advanced techniques. Once you arrive, take a few moments to watch how seasoned skiers approach the run—it’s a perfect mix of skill and style (see the video below). Even experienced skiers find Corbet’s challenging, so only highly experienced skiers and riders should attempt to ski the Couloir. If you hope to ski the Couloir one day, but need to brush up on your skills, check out our Terrain Parks.“
