Skiing Apocalypse Couloir at night.
Skiing Apocalypse Couloir at night.

Most people don’t think of skiing as a night time activity, but Jim Ryan and Madison Rose Ostergren aren’t most people. They’re both professional skiers based in the Jackson Hole area, and they’re both very willing to push their limits in the mountains.

They took a nighttime trip to Grand Teton National Park to ski the Apocalypse Couloir, requiring a 4,500 foot ascent and a double repel to access. From their they’re able to ski the 2,500 foot couloir. It’s a pretty impressive trip.

Despite how cold it must have been up there at night, this looks like quite the blast of an adventure. Plus the snow actually looks quite nice and the skiing looks very fun. Make sure to check out Jim Ryan and Madison Rose Ostergren YouTube channel for more similar videos.
