Join the crew from Blackcrows Skis as the explore the once thriving slopes of Super Saint-Bernard Ski Resort in Switzerland. The ski company’s founders have an intimate connection with the resort as it was their preferred destination when it was in operation due to its excellent off-piste access and extended snow season.
Five skiers, including Blackcrows’ co-founder Camille Jaccoux, set off to explore the small resort that lies on the border between Switzerland and Italy which spun lifts from 1963 until it was permanently closed in 2010.
For 47 years the small north-facing ski area was considered as “The Powder Eldorado” for several generations of freeskiers before it closed due to its isolated location and its size being too small for investors to modernize its facilities. Incredible place to explore. Enjoy.
