Lincoln, New Hampshire — One of the most significant New England terrain expansions of all time could happen someday at Loon Mountain Resort.

Last night, Loon held a presentation detailing the projects the ski resort has recently completed and what it plans to do in the years ahead.

Many interesting projects are on the horizon, including a new base lodge at West Basin, more facilities and beginner lifts at Timbertown, and a new pulse gondola connecting Timbertown to the Riverwalk Resort.

But what’s most interesting is a vast 295-acre terrain expansion that could eventually service a new base village with 1056 housing/lodging units. It should be noted that each major new project must be approved by the US Forest Service. Those trails/lifts seem a ways off, but the expansion plans are officially out in the open.

We’ll keep you posted here at Unofficial Networks on the latest developments regarding new Loon Mountain projects and the potential Lincoln Peak expansion.

Update 3/11: This video originally featured a video from Loon Mountain, which was a roughly hour long presentation detailing their future plans. Since the initial publishing of this article, Loon Mountain has made that video private.
