An incident at Palisades Tahoe over the weekend that sent a child to hospital after getting hit by a snowmobile is currently under investigation. The child is expected to recover.

It happened on Saturday around noon near the Big Blue Express Chairlift. The child was skiing with Palisades Tahoe’s Mighty Mites ski team (5-9 years old) when they were struck by a snowmobile. The victim suffered a broken leg. Ski patrol was on scene immediately and was airlifted by Care Flight Air Ambulance Service and transported receive medical care.
