Snow fort on Canadian news.
Snow fort on Canadian news.

Illustrator and sculptor Karl Dupéré-Richer lives his childhood dream every winter, building one of the most epic snow forts one man can build. The fort is so epic that CBC reporter Kwabena Oduro covered the build on CBC News’ 6:00 p.m. newscast on March 1.

It’s a very cool look both at Karl’s work and how it inspires local kids and teachers. Imagine being a kid and seeing this epic fort popping up in your town? You’d probably be doing your best to build something near that cool.

Karl has been conducting these builds for several years now, including putting together a sweet snow maze back in 2019. You can see take a look at his work both with snow and other art on his YouTube channel.
